Hello Super Second Grade Families,

My name is Heather Strohmyer and I will be your child's teacher this school year! I am also a Karns City graduate and I'm very proud to now be working in the same school district that I had the opportunity to learn in. I graduated in 2005 and then went on to Slippery Rock University. I graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a minor in mathematics. I also have a Master's degree in Reading Instruction. I love learning and continue to grow professionally. I'm working towards a Master's degree at Clarion University in Curriculum & Instruction. I started off my teaching career in the Moniteau School District. I taught third and sixth grade there; before coming to Karns City. This is my sixth year in the district. I've taught kindergarten, first, and now this is my fourth year in second grade.
