Mr. Twentier is a graduate of Butler Area Senior High School and Slippery Rock University holding a teaching certificate in Elementary Education (K-6). After graduating from SRU, Mr. Twentier was a Substitute Teacher within Karns City School District completing long term assignments in third and sixth grades. Between Substitute Teaching and returning to the school district for the 2015-2016 school year, Mr. Twentier was a Manager for multiple Government Contractors with 25-30 direct reports and approximately 200 indirect reports. Upon returning to teaching at the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year, he taught sixth grade prior to moving to fifth grade for the 2016-2017 year.

Mr. Twentier has coached baseball at multiple levels to include youth, high school, and junior college and basketball at Karns City. He has a daughter, Lexis and lives in Chicora with his wife, Mary.
