The KCS Foundation seeks to fund innovative project ideas that are incorporated into innovative and enriching instruction. Our mission is not to supplement department budgets. Asking for materials, but not explaining how the materials will be used to support an innovative program, will result in a lower score for the application. Grants will be awarded by the end of the current academic year. Funds are to be spent by the conclusion of the first semester of the following school year and a report of expenditures must be submitted to the Foundation Treasurer. Unspent portions of the grant monies are to be returned to the KCS Foundation, c/o Deana Turner, at Karns City's District Office.
